Moving house
After eighteen years living in my house I am moving!
We have sold our home and are moving to pastures new, to say we are all excited is an understatement. Sounds good? We have started to empty the attic, why oh why do we keep so much unwanted items? Why do we collect things like stamps and classic car magazines? Most of all, where do we keep it all?
Technology can help, I have taken pictures with my iPad all of the stamp albums, coin collections, matchbox collections, postcards and magazines in readiness to send to prospective buyers and auction houses. All I need to do then is send the pictures via email and wait for a reply!
Faith in technology has returned, looking forward to spending the money raised by decorating my new home!

Sara I wish this technology was available when I moved into my first home! I had to leave so many memories behind at my parents home. The suede retro disco skirt and photographs of friends, just little notes that me and my friends used to write to each other in class. I was a hoarder of all sorts too! Now that I am a home owner I am going to use this fab tip and use my ipad to store memories of my treasures.
ReplyDeleteI can finally blog yay!
ReplyDeleteHello there Nic, keep in touch!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sara on the new house. Exciting times ahead for both of us as I am also moving. However I will not need a removal van as it is only 2 doors away from our house.
ReplyDeleteThat's a brill idea, thank goodness for technology! Exciting times ahead Sara! Agree with you Laura, may use this fab tip too :)
